Welcome to the 4-C EDA region. As our Fayette County partners say, it has become a place to “Live, Work, Learn and Play”.
For nearly two decades we have worked to diversify the economic base. This has required a focus on infrastructure development to:
- provide water and sanitary service for business and residential projects,
- improve the transportation system,
- create business, industrial and technology
- construct new facilities,
- improve housing stock opportunities,
- enhance workforce skills and
- expand the retail sector.
parks,
These projects have required participation from our partners at the federal, state and local levels. As a result of the work of many dedicated allies, the region has become competitive as a place to operate a profitable business, raise your family in a safe environment and enjoy an array of recreational activities at the end of the work day.
We issue the same invitation extended by the state of West Virginia. Check us out as the place to “Live and Work Where Other People Vacation!”
